This year’s Lent course is called ‘If you want to walk on water you have to get out of the boat’. It’s on DVD and includes a lively talk followed by some bible study and ending in worship time.
The theme is growing in our ability and willingness to trust God .
The course will start in the Sunday service on the first Sunday in Lent, and end with all the groups together in church on Weds 24th March,.
We hope everyone will come along to a group. The Leadership Team are all involved in leading this year’s groups, and one group will be led by Lynn Sheldon as part of her Local Ministry Training Course.
Home groups are always great fun and provide a chance to make new friendships as well as deepening old ones, and a chance to grow closer to God.
They are the perfect way to prepare for the glorious celebration of Easter. Who knows, maybe this year the groups will want to continue beyond Lent. I do hope so. Sign up without delay to book your place.
